1. Who controls this data
- Laff operates the service and controls the operator-application record.
Email privacy support at support@laffapp.com, or read the full Privacy Policy.
2. Required information
- Your account identifier, operator type, cart type, truck name, and cuisine choices.
- The Balady mobile-cart reference, each in-cart worker’s health-certificate reference, establishment CR and applicant-capacity details when applicable, and a selected site reference when provided.
- Photos of your Balady licence, your commercial registration and your in-cart workers’ health certificates, when they’re photographed: by a Laff team member at your truck with you there, or added by you. Photos of your menu board, if you add them.
- Operating-readiness and accuracy confirmations.
Without the required information, Laff cannot review the application or unlock the listing and Go Live.
3. Why Laff uses it
- To review eligibility, verify credential status and expiry, prevent unverified operation, support renewals, and secure the application process.
- Required application details are used to review your application and to provide the operator service.
- Reviewers compare the photos with the references to check your papers, now and at renewal. Menu-board photos help set up your menu.
4. In-cart worker privacy
- A health certificate, and a photo of one, shows the worker’s name, photo and ID number, and its status or expiry may relate to their health eligibility. Laff does not ask for medical examinations, diagnoses, laboratory results, or training records.
- Before a worker’s certificate is photographed or their reference is entered, tell them that Laff will keep it for shift readiness. By acknowledging this notice you confirm you told each of them. Tell us when a worker leaves.
5. Optional information
- Product and growth messages are optional, use separate consent, and never affect the application decision.
- You can turn optional messages off from Operator Privacy settings without withdrawing the application.
6. Storage, sharing, and retention
- Application references, photos of your papers and verification results stay in a private record available only to you, authorized Laff reviewers, and service processors that need them. Photos are stored encrypted, and every time a reviewer opens them is logged.
- Laff stores its database and files in Google Cloud in Dammam. Sign-in, notifications and safety screening use Google, Apple and OpenAI services that can process data outside Saudi Arabia.
- Laff keeps your application and verification records, including photos of your papers, while your account exists, and deletes them when you delete your account.
- Photos go sooner. A sign-up a Laff team member started is deleted with its photos if you don’t finish it within 30 days. Photos of your papers are deleted 30 days after an application is rejected or withdrawn. When a worker leaves your list, their certificate reference and every health-certificate photo of your truck are removed within 30 days.
7. Your rights
- You may ask to know what is processed, access or receive a copy, correct or complete it, and request destruction when the data is no longer needed.
- You may withdraw consent-based processing. Turning off marketing does not affect required application processing based on another approved legal basis.
