Give the next visit a beginning.

A clear menu, a useful live update and a thoughtful reply are good reasons to stay connected.

The first visit

Tried something new. Kept a little record.

A second visit says something.

A return is based on a previous recorded visit, not a guess or a hidden customer dossier.

Tell followers when you are serving.

Existing follower updates belong to the free operator loop. Their value comes from a relevant, accurate update about the truck. Public location and status should match the actual service period, with a clear end when the shift closes.

A reply is a real conversation.

Read the visit and review before replying under the truck identity. Answer the person’s point in your own voice. A visit is not automatic praise, and access to a review does not grant permission to market to someone elsewhere.

Read the number with its meaning.

A returning customer in the current daily report checked in or completed a Laff order that day and had previously done so at the same truck. That is a specific observation. It does not prove a campaign caused the visit, or that every visitor bought food.

Build regulars with permission.

Useful recognition should follow real visits and explicit choices. Broader CRM, usual-order sharing and new messaging products need their own consent and product work. Laff’s current story is strongest when it describes the tools that are actually there.
